This is a very popular question, and a very good reason to have an open mind. I’m not saying that someday the universe will be entirely unoccupied, but as we are now, there is a lot of space in between. In the future, there will be some more space than just the horizon line. When we are in the future, we’re in a lot more space than we are now.
We don’t know when, but it is very possible that we’ll be in a Universe in which the universe is entirely occupied by time loops. That’s pretty far off, though.
