You don’t need to be the best, you just need to be good enough to be seen. So, I don’t understand why more and more brands are incorporating beautiful, simple, colorful logos in their marketing materials. It’s a total waste of time and money.
The only reason we feel as strongly about this is because we’ve spent a lot of time doing this ourselves, so we know what to look for when trying to find a great logo. We’re not the only ones who have this problem. More and more companies are resorting to these terrible, terrible logos as they feel the heat of the internet. Its not only pointless, but it also creates bad reputation for the brand.
I hate to be the guy who says, “but I know what I’m doing when it comes to logos” but I feel like the vast majority of companies that are using these horrible logos are not so much trying to be innovative (they’re probably just using the same logo) as they are trying to make a quick buck.
Google has a “Google Webmaster Guidelines” which outlines the company’s guidelines on acceptable logos. In addition to that, the Google logo was once a “Cool Logo” in its early days. That logo was based on the “Teddy Bear” logo that was designed by Charles Eames and is still used today throughout the company’s product lines.
I don’t have a problem with Google using the current logo. The problem is that Google is not an innovator and they are not trying to make a quick buck. If they were I would probably like it even less. It looks very similar to a company logo that’s been around for a long time (and is not even original). While I don’t think Google should use it, I think there should be less of the “cool” logo.
The first thing I think Google should do is make a logo that is similar to their current logo. That way they wont look like a lazy corporate asshole when they use the current logo.
The current logo is nice, but there are a lot more options than the green one. Green is the current logo, so you could make it pink. It could be a nice logo, but it is not original.
I think Google should make a new logo. It could be any color. It could also be a more “cool” or “upbeat” logo. As Google’s logo is currently, it is so dull and boring. It’s boring because it’s not original and it’s not cool because it’s not cool. It makes no sense. It is just a boring logo. The new logo should be original and cool. It should be like the current logo, but with a green background.
