The fact of the matter is that we are all guilty of a few sins from time to time. Some of these sins are just plain silly, like crossing our fingers before we start something, or flipping our fingers in prayer.
When you are guilty of these sorts of sins, it’s good to remember that you have the right to free yourself from guilt. You don’t have to be punished for what you did simply because it has been done. You don’t have to be made to feel bad about what you did simply because it was done. You don’t have to feel bad for what you did simply because it was done.
I think we should do a good job of highlighting the fact that we are guilty of this type of sin and not just admit it. Its just that we shouldn’t be ashamed of what we did. So instead we’d probably just blame ourselves for being guilty. That, we should say, is the only way we can stop ourselves from being guilty.
Well I think that you can say that this is the only way to stop yourself from doing it. But I think that the only way to stop yourself from doing it is for you to admit that it was you who did it and not to feel bad about it.
That should explain why it feels bad. And it also seems to explain why it is so hard to admit that you did it. But we all know what we did.
So I think that you should just start to look for the evidence and find the person that did it. And you should say to yourself: “Wow, I really hurt your feelings.” or “I feel so bad about hurting your feelings” or “I feel so bad about hurting you that I think about cutting my hand off right now.
That seems to be the only way to get through it. Because once you realize that you did it, it’s a lot harder to get past it. It’s harder to believe that you didn’t do it. And the more you believe that no, you didn’t do it, the harder it will be to get past the thought of doing it again.
Its not that you should say a specific thing to yourself to get past the thought of doing it again, but you should make an effort to say what you really think and feel. If you feel that you should have done it, then you should acknowledge that.
