It tells us that it’s a story of a man named Dottie who was trapped in a dark night in his childhood home by a mysterious man who killed a girl and his wife in exchange for food. It’s as if he was trapped in a dark place by some mysterious stranger and he was told to kill her and his wife to make her life miserable.
This makes sense because boric life is like a “dark” thriller, but the game does it in a way that makes us question it. You can understand the story and the ending but you can’t understand its core meaning, which is that Dottie’s whole life and being has been turned into a nightmare. When you consider that his childhood home was in ruins because of this horrible dream, the whole thing just seems insane.
Of course, the plot is just as disturbing as the rest of boric life’s content, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting. With every death, you get to play a new game with every death. You might play it with your friend or with your family in multiplayer mode, but you can also play a death with your own. That’s how boric life’s story works.
