bawsk.com has been around since early 2008, so you’d think there’d be some sort of review policy to ensure that if we have a problem we will fix it. But apparently not. Instead, we get the occasional review from a company who doesn’t care at all about our review. And it pisses me off.
Bawsk has a pretty good reason for its existence, but the real reason for its existence is this: the “story”. Bawsk has a good reason for its existence. And it’s not exactly the story. I’ll get to this in a couple days.
We know they got the reviews from the company in the first place, but they didn’t seem to believe they could ever get the reviews from a company like Bawsk, so we figured that perhaps someone else had a better reason. And guess what? they didn’t.
I mean, it’s a business, right? They should be able to get reviews from any company they want to. But they do this the old-fashioned way, like putting up ads on Facebook. They got the ads from the company in the first place, but they didnt seem to believe they could ever get the reviews from a company like Bawsk, so we figured that perhaps someone else had a better reason. And guess what they didnt.
So instead of writing up a review for Bawsk, we just did an AMA.
In the end, it all boils down to this: Bawsk is a small, friendly, family-run business. Maybe they could have done better by trying to get reviews from other companies as well, but they didnt. They got reviews from us.

Our review ended up being quite good because we were able to ask some great questions. We got lots of really nice responses from the Bawsk team. They even gave us the company logo, which we’re quite proud of. It doesn’t appear to be a Bawsk logo yet though, because it’s a blank white rectangle. We’re going to try and get a few more of these, or at least the one with the little purple eyes.
They were all very nice to us with their very good review; they even gave us the name of the website. The website is still fairly early, but it actually has about 500 reviews and we got about 30,000 hits from other companies. We are quite happy that it worked out for us.
